Does stamp duty land tax apply in these circumstances?

Question:
My company has diversified into property rental and development, and has the opportunity to buy part of a garden in London which has no buildings on it or present access to it. I own the land that has the access to it. Does stamp duty land tax (SDLT) apply? The purchase price is £245,000.

This garden is a chargeable interest in land, for SDLT purposes (here), and therefore SDLT will apply.
