Is there a tax advantage to changing an existing sole ownership to partner ownership?

Question:

Arthur Weller replies:
If your wife is eligible to a UK personal allowance for income tax then certainly there is an advantage in owning UK properties together with her, because the overall UK income tax liability will be reduced.
